Congress releases fourth list of 19 candidates for Maharashtra Assembly election, replaces three nominations

The party has replaced a total of three candidates in this list. From Nandurbar-ST Mohan Pawan Singh has been replaced by Udesingh K Padvi, from Ghatkopar West, Manisha Sampatrao Suryavanshi has been replaced by Anand Shukla and from Sillod Prabhakar Manirao Palodkar has been replaced by Khaisar Azad.

The Congress on Thursday evening announced its fourth list of 19 candidates who will contest the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly election. The party has replaced a total of three candidates in this list. From Nandurbar-ST Mohan Pawan Singh has been replaced by Udesingh K Padvi, from Ghatkopar West, Manisha Sampatrao Suryavanshi has been replaced by Anand Shukla and from Sillod Prabhakar Manirao Palodkar has been replaced by Khaisar Azad.

In this list, Sulbha Khodke from Amaravati, Balwant Wankhede from Daryapur SC, Suresh Bhoyar from Kamthi, and Madhavrao Pawar from Hadgaon has been nominated, among others.

The third list, released on Wednesday, consists the names of two women candidates. In the list, Purushottam Nagorao Hajare from From Nagpur East, and Sahu Sahadevrao Khaire from Nashik Central has been fielded.

The elections for the 288-member House in Maharashtra will be held on October 21 and results will be out on October 24.

The Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) have forged an alliance in the state with both deciding to contest 125 seats each. The remaining 38 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly have been left for other coalition parties to contest.
